Swansea City Council's leader has called on the Government to keep plans to build the world's first tidal lagoon on track, as more local authorities enter the energy business.

Discussions between the developers, Tidal Lagoon Power, and the Government over a subsidy for the renewable energy scheme have been going on for months.
