Whiteman takes on top job at CIPFA

Former UK Border Agency boss, Rob Whiteman, appointed as the new chief executive of CIPFA.

The former chief executive of the UK Border Agency, Rob Whiteman has been appointed as the new chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Accountancy.

Mr Whiteman, joined the agency in September 2011 from the Local Government Association and was previously chief executive of Barking and Dagenham LBC.
