Harrow LBC's assistant chief executive Tom Whiting has become corporate director of resources.

Mr Whiting joined the council in 2005 as head of strategy and performance and became assistant chief executive with responsibility for customer service, HR, IT, strategic commissioning, risk, audit and fraud.
