'Widespread industrial action' warning

Trade union Unite has warned the Scottish Government and employers there ‘could be widespread industrial action’ without a ‘significant increase’ to the current pay offer.

Trade union Unite has warned the Scottish Government and employers there ‘could be widespread industrial action' without a ‘significant increase' to the current pay offer.

Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: ‘The Scottish Government and Convention of Scottish Local Authorities need to improve upon the current pay offer or there will be trouble ahead.
