Wilshaw renews Birmingham City Council attack as he defends Ofsted

Ofsted chief inspector Sir Michael Wilshaw has renewed his attack on Birmingham City Council over its role in the Trojan Horse affair.

Ofsted chief inspector Sir Michael Wilshaw has renewed his attack on Birmingham City Council over its role in the Trojan Horse affair.

Speaking at the National Child and Adult Services (NCAS) Conference in Manchester today, Sir Michael said some headteachers in the city who had been ‘intimidated and marginalised' had received ‘very little support' from the local authority.
