Ann Wimbledon, a specialist with more than 30 years' experience in the not-for-profit and voluntary sector, has been newly appointed as director of service development for Dimensions.

The two-year post has a number of responsibilities, but a large part of it will be to focus on the de-registering of residential care homes to give people greater control and rights around their housing provision.
