Windsor & Maidenhead go for five-in-a-row council tax cuts

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council has proposed a 2% reduction in council tax in 2014/15 – a move which if approved could mean the authority has cut local charges for five successive years.

Windsor and Maidenhead RBC has proposed a 2% reduction in council tax in 2014/15 – a move which if approved could mean the authority has cut local charges for five successive years.

Band D council tax levels would fall by £19.38 to £926.40 and £1.3m less would be raised from council tax yields in consequence, council leaders have claimed.
