Wirral MBC has defended its decision to collaborate with an external partner after announcing it will work with Muse Developments on a £1bn joint venture.

The Wirral Growth Company, a 10-year, 50:50 joint venture, aims to deliver new affordable housing, care homes, office space and a business park, as well as generate thousands of new jobs.
