The leaders of Wirral MBC and Cheshire West and Chester Council have taken the first steps towards creating a combined corporate service.
 

Cheshire West and Chester's leader, Cllr Mike Jones, and chief executive, Steve Robinson, met with Wirral leader, Cllr Phil Davies and chief executive, Graham Burgess, to sign a concordat, declaring their intention to merge £69m of back office services.
