Wirral MBC looks set to formally launch a search for a partner to develop a new 'world class' 18-hole golf resort.

Speaking to The MJ, the council's head of regeneration and planning, David Ball, said the project had already generated a 'high level of interest from the big names you would expect in the golf world' since it was relaunched last September at the Ricoh Women's British Open at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
