In North East Lincolnshire, like many coastal locations, we have to work hard to recruit for some specialist roles. Attracting talent from the bigger cities can be a challenge for us in Great Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham. Through conversations with other major employers from different sectors across our place, I found we were not the only ones.
I received a request from our assistant director for people and organisational development, following a place-based meeting they had attended, asking if we could create a place-based recruitment campaign to share with prospective job candidates so they could learn more about living and working here.
