Wolverhampton to terminate Amey contract after 11 years

Wolverhampton City Council has decided to terminate its waste contract with Amey after 11 years and promised to introduce an improved service for residents.

Wolverhampton City Council has decided to terminate its waste contract with Amey after 11 years and promised to introduce an improved service for residents.

The council will take over the delivery of the service this September, which will increase recycling requirements to 50% by 2020.
