Oldham MBC said it is hoping to persuade retail giant Marks & Spencer to be part of its new masterplan to redevelop the town centre's eastern gateway at Prince's Gate.

The local authority unveiled the plans last week, which include around 150,000 sq ft of retail space and up to 800 homes.
