Worcester City sets out preferred unitary plan

The Government must give a South Worcestershire unitary council ‘serious consideration’, according to Worcester City Council.

The Government must give a South Worcestershire unitary council ‘serious consideration', according to Worcester City Council.

The council has voted to support the idea of a merger with Wychavon and Malvern Hills DCs to create the unitary because it was ‘the correct geography' as would build on ‘the strengths of our partnerships with the other South Worcestershire district councils  and the South Worcestershire Development Plan'.
