Members of Worcester City Council have rejected calls to let its workers bid to run their own services.

Members of Worcester City Council have rejected calls to let its workers bid to run their own services.

A motion was put forward last week at a full council meeting by the opposition Labour group, which called on the local authority to provide support for an in-house bid to run refuse collection, street cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
