Worcestershire CC has rejected an offer to join the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), signalling it wishes to explore its own devolution deal.

The seven council members of the WMCA are understood to have reached out to Worcestershire ahead of submitting their power-sharing offer to the Treasury on 4 September.
