As Scottish HR leaders meet for their annual conference their society’s incoming president Victoria Rogers tells Michael Burton about some of the challenges facing Scottish local authorities

Scottish HR leads meet this week for their annual conference facing most of the same challenges as their counterparts in the rest of the UK even though the devolved governments are increasingly ploughing their own paths.

Victoria Rogers, incoming president of the Society of Personnel and Development Scotland (SPDS) cites budgets, transformation, an ageing workforce and integration as among the key challenges she and her colleagues face.
