Children have given Ofsted their own audit, as they expressed their views about social care inspections for the Social care inspection: The children's audit report, published on 20 September.

The top three suggestions for inspectors were checking that the place was suitable and ‘homely', speaking with children to ask about their experience living there, and observing how staff and children got on with each other.
