Social media site Facebook is helping Brighton and Hove City Council to provide much-needed careers advice to hard-to-reach local young people, says Cllr Sue Shanks.

The recession and public spending squeeze is hitting young people hard. Not only are they facing higher costs to go to university as well as fewer jobs on offer, but careers advice services are also being cut.
