Youth Endowment Fund chair appointed

Former Tower Hamlets chief executive Sir Kevan Collins has been appointed chair of the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF).

Former Tower Hamlets chief executive Sir Kevan Collins has been appointed chair of the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) – an independent body set up by the Home Office to fund and learn from early interventions to keep young people away from crime and violence.

He will be supported by former cabinet minister Hazel Blears, Christine Davies the former chief executive of C4EO, and social sector financier Louis Elson.
