Be clear on the service benefits of digitisation

In an increasingly digitised world isn’t it right that public service should be digitised too despite the cost?

Many would argue that the cost of digitising processes and systems outweighs the benefits. Take Mrs Smith, a 72-year-old woman, who has a complex set of long-term health needs and has carers coming in daily to ensure she has a hot meal.
