Cities working for change

Core Cities UK has been busy during party conference season, outlining its vision for civic leadership in the 21st century – an approach we call Whole Place Leadership. It is a truly ‘place-based’ vision which can help revitalise our communities and make sure our cities contribute their full potential to the UK economy.

In post-Brexit Britain, cities are more important than ever. They drive economies for nations and given the right policy levers, including devolution of powers and resources, they can do so much better for their communities, businesses and the national economy.
