Following much fanfare and not a little bravado the Government has now confirmed that its standalone planning legislation and the controversial growth zones of the 2020 Planning White Paper have been dropped

In what represents a hefty dilution of planning reform, we are now looking at a rather more incremental approach to be achieved through levelling up legislation.
