Failure to fund social care is a 'moral issue and false economy'

Ministers have been urged to turn back £5.5bn of real terms cuts after fresh NHS figures revealed yet another record breaking month for delayed transfers. 

Following disappointment in the Autumn Statement, care directors, health bosses and charities will be holding their breath as they await the local government finance settlement.
