We need to pause the cheering on social care

No-one said it would be easy. Achieving significant reform of Government policy on anything, let alone an issue as complicated and costly as social care, is not a simple endeavour.

First you have to get the issue to be a big enough blip on the ministerial radar that they want to devote some of their heavily limited time and finite political capital to look at the case for change.
