It’s flattering that they think you can turn their organisation round but why would you take on what many consider a thankless if not hopeless task with all the associated frustrations and stress?
Well the thinking is that this is a chance to make a name for yourself, a chance to make a real difference, probably an organisation up for radical change, an organisation that will give you a lot freer hand than one that is comfortably coasting.
