Adult social care has saved the NHS almost £60m through reducing pressure on hospital bed spaces, according to research published today.

Adult social care has saved the NHS almost £60m through reducing pressure on hospital bed spaces, according to research published today.

The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has estimated that NHS costs had fallen by £58.8m due to more beds being available.
