Local government can make a difference in addressing health inequalities, the executive director of East Midlands Councils has said on the publication of a new report.

Speaking before a debate on A Healthier Future for the East Midlands tomorrow, Mr Young said: ‘The health inequalities here are just not acceptable. To address these issues you need councils.'
