Assistant Director of Early Help and Education

Children and families are at the heart of our new ‘One Council' approach in Brent and we are looking for a new breed of individual to deliver real change in the way we support and safeguard children and young people in a dynamic, fast-changing borough.

Joining us at a crucial time of our new agenda development, you will play a critical role in maximising our changing relationships with schools and you will be responsible for key programmes such as our early help offer. Your focus will be on bringing innovation, efficiency and collaborative working to our service provision, integration and sustainability.

Your in-depth knowledge of the challenges we face will be crucial in successfully translating strategy into plans and you will have proven experience of managing major change programmes. An inspirational leader, collegiate player and problem solver, you will have exceptional interpersonal skills in partnership working.
