Luton BC is under threat of being reported to the Government by its auditor for a lack of ‘capacity and capability' in its finance team.

At the end of October, the auditor threatened to issue a report in the public interest unless a raft of measures were taken by Luton, including increasing capacity in its finance team, resolving issues with the valuation of the council-owned Luton Airport and completing its 2018-19 financial statements.
