Blackpool Council has conceded it will ‘struggle' to bridge a spending gap of almost £11m by the end of the financial year.

A report to senior councillors said a ‘perfect storm of labour and supply shortages, pay demands and spiralling inflation' had led to a forecast overspend of £10.9m for 2022-23.
