Bury chief to step down

Bury Council has announced its chief executive, Mike Kelly, will retire in March after four years in post.

Bury Council has announced its chief executive, Mike Kelly, will retire in March after four years in post. 

Prior to joining Bury, he was executive director of contract services at Oldham Council and has also worked in Sefton, Burnley and Middlesbrough. He replaced previous chief executive, Mark Sanders, in 2011.
