Businesses give approval to Liverpool's second BID

Businesses in Liverpool’s commercial district have voted in favour of the area gaining Business Improvement District (BID) status.

Businesses in Liverpool's commercial district have voted in favour of the area gaining Business Improvement District (BID) status, which should generate £3 million in funding.

The proposal was supported by 60% of voters and is the third ever commercial-led BID in the UK. The extra funding raised over the next five years will pay for enhanced maintenance, marketing and physical improvements to the area.
