Caerphilly approves Living Wage for workers

Workers on low wages will be given a pay rise after Caerphilly County Borough Council approved plans to introduce a Living Wage.

Over 3,000 workers on low wages will be given a pay rise after Caerphilly County Borough Council approved plans to introduce a Living Wage.

The proposals, which will be implemented from 1 October, will ensure all employees are paid at least £7.20 per hour.
