Experts have called for the Government to push through the passing of the ‘long-awaited' Renters (Reform) Bill amid soaring private rents.

A survey by the Generation Rent campaign group last week found three in five private renters (60%) were asked to pay a higher rent in the past year - up from 50% in November and 45% 12 months ago.
