Care directors warn of lockdown impact on homes

The Association of Directors of Adults Social Services (ADASS) has urged the Government to ensure families can visit care homes during the lockdown.

The Association of Directors of Adults Social Services (ADASS) acknowledged the lockdown was necessary, but warned of the ‘profoundly detrimental' effect on health, welfare, and wellbeing if visits were banned, in an open letter to health and social care secretary Matt Hancock.
