The first meeting of a cross-sector working group charged with looking at redistribution in two-tier areas is expected to be held later this month.

Politicians from all the main parties and officers from the District Councils' Network (DCN) and County Councils Network (CCN) will make up the group, which will be chaired by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
