Chancellor Philip Hammond has outlined a ‘mission' to make economic growth more inclusive in the aftermath of the Brexit vote.

In his strongest backing yet to the Northern Powerhouse, Mr Hammond told the Conservative Party's conference in Birmingham this week the Government would continue to drive the agenda ‘working in partnership with local leaders, to see it delivers its potential for people in the North'.
