Chief executive calls time on 40-year career

Braintree DC chief executive Andy Wright has announced he is to retire after almost four decades in local government.

Braintree DC chief executive Andy Wright has announced he is to retire after almost 40 years in local government.

Mr Wright joined the council in 2013 as a corporate director before becoming chief executive in 2017.
