The chief executive of Leeds City Council has revealed the ‘cross-party frustration' at the lack of a devolution deal for the West Yorkshire combined authority.

Writing on Twitter, Tom Riordan said the lack of a devolution deal for his region meant there was currently a ‘gaping hole' in the Government's Northern Powerhouse strategy.
