The leaders of Bromsgrove DC and Redditch BC have decided to halt the recruitment process for a new chief executive.

Eight candidates are understood to have been put forward for interview by stakeholders but Sue Hanley will now continue as interim chief executive of the two councils until at least the spring, when the permanent recruitment process is expected to begin again.
