Tower Hamlets LBC chief executive Steve Halsey has rejected calls for his resignation following the Government's decision to send in envoys.

Chair of Poplar and Limehouse Constituency Labour Party, Christopher Worrall, had written to Halsey, formally calling for his resignation to ‘restore trust and integrity' in the council.
