Citizen leadership is a walk in the park

Andrew Muter suggests we take a leaf out of New York's book when it comes to passing parks to the public

I recently escaped to New York for a few days where I did the usual tourist things, including a couple of trips to Central Park, Manhattan's amazing 843-acre urban park.

This is more than just a green lung. It is an iconic, vast and beautiful space in one of the world's busiest cities. It manages to combine recreational space with environmental excellence.
