First city director hired on £35k less than chief executive

Stoke-on-Trent has appointed David Sidaway as its first ever city director.

Stoke-on-Trent has appointed David Sidaway as its first ever city director.

Former Telford & Wrekin Council director Mr Sidaway joined Stoke last February and had been interim head of paid service since November 2015, when chief executive John van de Laarschot stepped down after a period of extended leave.
