Clark: Budget will not affect four-year settlement

Communities secretary Greg Clark has confirmed that cuts announced in the Budget will not affect the previously announced four-year finance settlement for local authorities.

Communities secretary Greg Clark has confirmed that cuts announced in the Budget will not affect the previously announced four-year finance settlement for local authorities.

Mr Clark moved to reassure the sector after fears were raised in a letter from communities and local government committee chair Clive Betts.
