Clark pledges to align councils and business

Communities secretary Greg Clark has pledged that 100% rate retention will make business and councils ‘inseparable’ by 2020.

Communities secretary Greg Clark has pledged that 100% rate retention will make businesses and councils ‘inseparable' by 2020.

Writing in The MJ, Mr Clark said there was more to be done to make the fortunes of councils ‘fully aligned' with business growth.
