Closing the digital skills gap

Simon Collinson looks at how to widen the talent pool and bridge the digital skills gap in the UK public sector.

Fears about digital skills shortages are not new.

For many years, organisations have been grappling with the increasingly urgent need to train their existing employees and recruit new ones with the right skills. Today, it continues to cause strife in the public sector, with 65% of government worker respondents to our recent Digital Skills Index saying that they do not have the skills required now.
