Scottish Labour has urged the Conservative government to halt the roll out of Universal Credit (UC) amid fears that it will push families into poverty.

Scottish Labour has urged the Conservative government to halt the roll out of Universal Credit (UC) amid fears that it will push families into poverty.

Deputy leader of Scottish Labour, Alex Rowley, this week wrote to work and pensions secretary David Gauke airing ‘concerns about the six-week waiting period for payments'.
