In conversation with The MJ's editor Heather Jameson and Cratus chief executive Nick Kilby, Cllr Brown talks about the importance of places creating their own narrative and shaping their destiny regardless of central Government's role.

She also explains the value of opposition councillors to the wider council team and the benefit to communities of cultural investment that other places may consider meagre.
