Contractor Kier announces profits warning

Shares in outsourcing specialist Kier have been sent tumbling following a profits warning announcement yesterday.

Shares in outsourcing specialist Kier have been sent tumbling following a profits warning announcement yesterday.

The company said it expected its operating profit to amount to around £129m for the first half of 2019, down from the £169m expected.
